First off, I’m not a motorcycle rider and only bought this for the style. That said, I do know leather goods and I have to say that I am very surprised how nice this jacket is. The jacket is surprisingly heavy and the leather appears to be good quality. I was expecting something much more lightweight with thin leather, but that isn’t the case. The zippers and snaps seem to be quality as well. I don’t see any issues with the construction and I really like the features.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about what I would receive when I ordered this jacket. I’ve been a collector of premium leather bound books for many years and know good quality leather when I see it, whether it be cowhide, calfskin, goatskin, lambskin, etc. I was pleasantly surprised when the jacket arrived. The leather on this jacket seems really nice. Lots of grain and character. Shiny but not overly so. Fairly thick leather likely sufficient for those of us who ride motorcycles.

What an amazing price for the real deal! I’m an old punk and recently lost my old leather during a move that went horribly wrong. I was worried because I usually like to try these sort of things on before purchasing but local shops want close to 200 bucks or more for the same jacket.
